FjallRaven Abisko Shade Women's Shorts

The Abisko Shade Shorts are made for activities in warm climates and conditions, everything has been thought of. To start with the material, G-1000 Air. This material is a real outdoor material specially adapted to warm conditions. It ventilates well and is very airy and light. In addition, an attempt has been made to apply double fabric to as few parts as possible.

There is a ventilation opening on the back of the hip, which ensures that you perspire less quickly. The pants have two side pockets and there is a safety pocket on the inside of the waist. On the front of the waist there is an extra loop to attach necessities with, for example, a carabiner.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This substance was then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very durable and therefore long-lasting. In addition, it is lightweight.

• Water repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 can withstand short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it is quick-drying.

• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.

• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.

• UV protection: Thanks to G-1000 you are almost completely protected from the sun's rays, reducing the risk of burns.

• Mosquito-Proof: The tightly woven fabrics keep mosquitoes and other flying insects away. Ideal if you are in the mountains, the forest or in a warm climate. Note: G-1000 Lite is not mosquito proof.
