The outer material of the Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women's hiking shoe is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal hide. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. If you wax nubuck leather, it will become darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.
The Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women's hiking shoe contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
The Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women's hiking shoe has a removable insole from Meindl. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately. We also sell custom insoles that provide additional support.
The Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women's hiking shoe contains the Memory Foam System (MFS) developed by Meindl. This MFS is a kind of foam layer that is processed around the ankle part of the shoe. This provides extra support for the ankle. Under the influence of body temperature, the MFS forms completely to the shape of the foot. This ensures that the Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women's hiking shoe completely adapts to the shape of your feet.
Like many other hiking shoes, the Meindl Vakuum Lady Sport III GTX women 's hiking shoe has a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. These soles ensure a good settlement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are durable, they last longer than other soles.
