Elmar Rother Hiking Guide Dolomites 1

This beautiful hiking guide describes 52 walks in the western part of the Grödner Dolomites. The walks are provided with reliable route descriptions, detailed hiking maps and informative altitude profiles.

This guide includes walks between Brixen, Bozen and the Fassatal with the Langkofel, the Plose, the Villnößtal, the Seiser Alm and the Rosengarten.

All the walks described here are not too difficult and follow well-marked routes. They can usually also be made by less well-trained mountain enthusiasts, and to some extent also with children and the elderly. On average, the hikes last 3.5 hours, with a maximum climb of 750 m that is rarely exceeded; on average a climb is about 450 m. The precise route descriptions are illustrated with photos of the landscape and multicolored hiking maps.
