PFC free

The JWP Shell jacket is produced without the use of environmentally polluting fluorocarbons (PFCs). The use of PFCs in textile finishing ensures that clothing becomes water, dirt and grease repellent. An alternative finish has been used in this jacket without the use of PFCs. This makes the product water and dirt repellent. Only an oil-repellent effect cannot currently be achieved with a PFC-free finish.

Recycled polyester

Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well. Polyester, like many other materials, is also harmful to the environment. It is not biodegradable and contributes to the plastic soup in the ocean. However, polyester can be recycled very well. The use of recycled polyester reduces both waste and dependence on petroleum as a source. This makes recycled polyester a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.
