Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Vakuum Men Ultra is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also very well be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather does make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you inject nubuck leather with a spray that contains wax, you treat this material in the best way.

GORE-TEX ®

The Vakuum Men Ultra contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that the hiking boots are waterproof, but still breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

MFS

The Vakuum Men Ultra contains the Memory Foam System (MFS) developed by Meindl. This MFS is a kind of foam layer that is processed around the ankle part of the shoe. This gives the ankle extra support. Under the influence of body temperature, the MFS adapts completely to the shape of the foot. This ensures that this walking shoe adapts completely to the shape of your feet.

Outsole
