The Makra Pro Low GTX is a low men's shoe from Hanwag. The Makra Pro Low GTX is ideal for demanding treks and mountain walks. The walking shoe falls under the category B/C walking shoes. In addition, these shoes have a stiffer sole than category B walking shoes. The Makra Pro Low GTX is therefore ideal if you take more difficult mountain tours during your holiday, explore rugged landscapes or take long walks with a heavy backpack.

The outer material of this shoe is made of suede and mesh and the lining is made of a GORE-TEX® membrane . This makes the Makra Pro Low GTX completely waterproof, while remaining breathable. These shoes have the Vibram® Makra sole, which ensures optimal grip while walking.

Materials

Suede

The outer material of the Makra Pro Low GTX is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal skin. It has a velvety appearance and feels soft. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

Mesh

The outer material of the Makra Pro Low GTX made of mesh. Mesh is a synthetic material that is made in different shapes. The use of mesh makes the shoe light, flexible and highly breathable.

Gore-Tex®

The Makra Pro Low GTX contains a GORE- TEX® membrane. The GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but remain breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Fit

Alpine Wide

The Makra Pro Low GTX has a special fit. Due to technical requirements, the Alpine fit models are somewhat narrower, but the Alpine Wide sole compensates as much as possible in the forefoot.

Insole

The Makra Pro Low GTX has a standard insole from Hanwag. This is a quick-drying, removable insole that contributes to extra comfort while walking. The standard Hanwag insole is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

Like many other hiking boots, the Makra Pro Low has GTX a VIBRAM® outsole . Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. These soles ensure good movement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are wear-resistant, they last longer than other soles. This version of the Vibram, the Vibram Makra, has a partial insole in the outsole. This makes them very sturdy and stable, despite the low fit. Thanks to the Hanwag Zone Lock, the joints require little or no use when walking with these shoes. Moreover, these soles can be resoled.

Can be resoled
