Hanwag Alaska Wide GTX
A classic: thanks to the Gore-Tex design, this Alaska Wide GTX hiking boot is very breathable and waterproof. It is very comfortable, partly because of the few seams, and is the ideal shoe for somewhat heavier walks. The Vibram sole has a deep profile, so you also have good grip on bad paths. If you have slightly wider feet, this Wide model is very suitable for you, because it has extra space at the front.

This versatile hiking boot is suitable for global trekking adventures. With this waterproof shoe you can walk around in wet environments, but with its breathable design also in warmer environments. With these sturdy shoes you can also easily take a heavy load with you. The higher uppers offer extra protection to the ankles. When walking, the shoe also provides soft cushioning and absorbs shocks.

- Category B/C: The shoe is suitable for demanding hikes in the low mountain range and on difficult paths.
- Can be resoled: When the sole is very worn, we can have it resoled. Then you get a completely new sole that is exactly the same as the original. Then you can enjoy your shoes for longer and you do not have to break in a new shoe, for example.
- The insole is made of memory foam, which gives it good shape retention on your foot (the sole always returns to its original shape).
