Buff Coolnet UV+ Ether Multi

The Coolnet UV+ Ether Multi Buff is made from a combination of recycled polyester and elastane. This makes the Buff not only elastic and comfortable, but also very durable. This beautiful combination of materials has another advantage, it wicks away moisture very well, so you stay cool for longer. In addition, the Buff protects you against harmful UV radiation (UPF50+), which makes this product very suitable for use on warm sunny days.

Washing instructions

It is important to wash the Buff well after use. The labels on the articles advise a maximum washing temperature of 40 degrees Celsius. However, this would not be warm enough to completely disinfect the Buff. Buff therefore carried out a test. The Original Buff and the Coolnet UV+ have been tested under a washing temperature of 60 degrees Celsius. The results indicated there is no problem with washing with a 60ºC program. Colors do not fade and the quality remains the same due to the polyester fabric.

Recycled Polyester

Polyester is a synthetic material made from petroleum. It is a durable, smooth fabric that feels soft. In addition, it is lightweight, does not need to be ironed and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyester is that it does not absorb moisture well, is not very warm and does not breathe very well. Polyester is also, like many other materials, harmful to the environment. It is not biodegradable and contributes to the plastic soup in the ocean. However, polyester can be recycled very well. The use of recycled polyester reduces both waste and the dependence on petroleum as a source. Recycled polyester is therefore a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative.

Elastane (Lycra/Spandex)

Elastane is a synthetic fiber that is very elastic. It is often used in combination with other fabrics such as polyester and cotton. Under tension the fabric can stretch enormously and without tension the fabric returns to its original shape. As a result, elastane offers a lot of freedom of movement, without losing the fit.
