This back system also offers an impressive female-specific fit, with an ergonomically shaped hip belt, harness, shoulder pad and back panel.

The Tempest 30 has an adjustable back, so that the backpack fits your body and provides the most comfortable carrying experience. In addition, the backpack features a Stow-on-the-Go™ walking stick attachment, dual ice ax attachments and compression straps. Zippered pockets on each side of the hip belt provide quick and easy access to smaller items such as a phone, snacks and a GPS . At the top is another conveniently placed pocket, ideal for gloves, a hat, map or other items you need easy access to. The quick-access external hydration sleeve makes it easy to refill your hydration reservoir.

Fit

The fit of the Tempest has been specially developed for women, but can also be worn very well by men. This fit differs from the regular fit on three points.

Shorter back

The back is shorter, because women generally have a shorter back than men.

Narrower shoulder straps and soft cuffs

The shoulder straps are tailored to the narrower shoulders of women. The tires are not only narrower, but also have a clear S-shape and have soft edges. The shoulder straps are narrow at the ends. This contributes to a perfect fit.

Conical hip belts

The hip belts are adapted to the female pelvis. The hip belts run obliquely from top to bottom, creating a conical shape. The bag adapts completely to the female anatomy.

AirScape™

The AirScape™ back consists of foam ridges that form channels. These channels allow the air to ventilate well. Over the foam ridges is a mesh layer that also contributes to good breathability. The back panel fits close to the back. This allows you to carry the weight close to the body. This ensures an extremely good stability.

Stow-On-The-Go™

The Stow-On-The-Go ™ system consists of an adjustable elastic loop on the sternum strap and an elastic loop on the side of the backpack. These loops allow you to quickly and easily store your trekking poles without having to remove your backpack. This is ideal when you need to have your hands free.
