G-1000 material

G-1000 is a substance that FjällRäven has developed itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This fabric is then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very durable and therefore lasts a long time. In addition, it is lightweight.
• Water-repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 is resistant to short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it dries quickly.
• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.
• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.
