Running socks
Buying running socks may feel unnecessary, but for avid athletes this is more than a luxury. Running socks have several advantages over normal (sports) socks. Running socks have better sweat drainage than other (thick) sports socks. This prevents warm and clammy feet. Running socks also chafe less, which prevents abrasions, irritation and blisters. A number of running socks also offer extra cushioning, which can prevent injuries. The body (from foot to hips) gets a lot of blows during running.
Running socks always have a left sock and a right sock. Most running socks are made to the shape of the foot. The sock fits better this way, so that it moves less while running. Some running socks consist of two separate parts. The outer layer then attracts the sweat, so that the sweat is drained faster and more efficiently.
