The FjällRäven Karla Winter Trousers are made of G-1000 Silent material. This is a soft and virtually noiseless fabric. Due to the brushed finish, the fabric is slightly less strong, but it ensures that the garment does not rustle. This makes it ideal for wearing during an evening walk in the woods or wildlife management work.

There are two side pockets on the thighs for necessities that must be quickly accessible, the pants also have two back pockets with flap and press stud. On the right leg there is a large pocket with flap and press stud and a side pocket with zipper. In addition to this side pocket, there is also a small pocket in which you can store, for example, a knife or other small tools.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This fabric was then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very durable and therefore long-lasting. In addition, it is lightweight.
• Water repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 can withstand short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it is quick-drying.
• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.
• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.
• UV protection: Thanks to G-1000 you are almost completely protected from the sun's rays, reducing the risk of burns.
• Mosquito-Proof: The tightly woven fabrics keep mosquitoes and other flying insects away. Ideal if you are in the mountains, the forest or in a warm climate. Note: G-1000 Lite is not mosquito proof.
