The Meindl Bergamo Identity is an environmentally friendly produced shoe. The sole is made of Vibram which provides a good grip, with shock absorption at the heel, regardless of annoying surfaces. With the hiking boots in this new Identity collection, Meindl shows in detail the origin of the leather upper. This creates a 100% transparent life course. Since the environment and sustainability are of paramount importance at Meindl, they use leather from the partners and suppliers in the Chiemgau and Salzburg regions. When the leather is tanned, each hide is manually provided with an identification number. This Identity-Number is registered and can be found on the inside of the cuff.
