CarePlus Oral Rehydration Salt Scoop

If the CarePlus ORS is not available, you can use the Careplus ORS Scoop. With this scoop you can easily mix your own rehydration fluid with 200 ml drinking water, salt and sugar.

The CarePlus ORS Scoop is fitted with cups on both sides, which serve as a measuring cup. The large cup is for measuring sugar, the small one for measuring salt. You can hang it on your bag as a key ring.

Dehydration

Dehydration is anything but harmless. When you are dehydrated, this leads to reduced performance, a higher body temperature and reduced blood flow to the muscles, kidneys and gastrointestinal tract. Dehydration often occurs during and after exercise at high temperatures. So be alert and make sure you always have ORS with you. With this you immediately replenish your moisture, salts and sugars. When you experience symptoms such as headache, dizziness, nausea, tingling, accelerated heart rate, cold hands and feet, muscle cramps and less sweating, you can expect dehydration.
