FjällRäven Skogsö Padded Jacket men's jacket

This hip-length, lightly padded winter jacket is a perfect outdoor garment for the colder months of the year. This is because the FjällRäven Skogsö Padded Jacket is filled with the synthetic G-Loft Supreme filling, which provides extra warmth. During short rain showers you stay perfectly dry and at the same time perspiration is removed. The jacket is also windproof.

The men's jacket offers good freedom of movement, with or without a backpack. It also has pre-shaped sleeves and adjustable cuffs (at the wrists) with press studs and an adjustable hem with a drawstring.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This fabric was then treated with Greenland Wax . This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

G-Loft Supreme

G-Loft Supreme from FjällRäven is a synthetic filling with an extremely high insulating capacity. It also keeps you warm even in humid conditions. The filling consists of hollow and very thin polyester fibers (of which 10% recycled polyester). Like down, it has a natural ability to create small air pockets that provide insulation.

In addition, the structure of the fibers ensures that they automatically return to their original airy spiral shape. This resiliency remains intact even after repeated washes and prolonged use. This resilient property is thanks to the mix of recycled polyester. These are slightly stiffer than natural fibers.

Furthermore, G-Loft Supreme is quick-drying, ventilating, compressible and easy to wash. You'll find it in garments that need to be both highly insulating and exceptionally water resistant, such as hiking or canoeing, and that need to be light and easy to pack.
