FjällRäven Skogsö Jacket men

The Skogsö from the brand FjällRäven is a stylish and well-breathable men's jacket, which is windproof and water-repellent. The jacket has two chest pockets and two side pockets, all with a flap. The front has a two-way zipper with a protective flap with press studs. Finally, the Skogsö has an adjustable hem with drawstring and adjustable cuffs (at the wrist) with buttons, this way you are maximum protected against the weather.

The jacket is made of G-1000 Lite, this is a more breathable version of the G-1000 Original that has been used on the shoulders for reinforcement.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are woven closely together. This fabric was then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very durable and therefore long-lasting. In addition, it is lightweight.
• Water repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 can withstand short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it is quick-drying.
• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.
• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.
• UV protection: Thanks to G-1000 you are almost completely protected from the sun's rays, reducing the risk of burns.
• Mosquito-Proof: The tightly woven fabrics keep mosquitoes and other flying insects away. Ideal if you are in the mountains, the forest or in a warm climate. Note: G-1000 Lite is not mosquito proof.
