Sustainable production

The North Face has been committed to producing technical clothing without the use of environmentally polluting fluorocarbons (PFCs) since 2015. The use of PFCs in the textile finish ensures that clothing becomes water, dirt and grease repellent. An alternative finish without the use of PFCs has been used in The North Face's technical apparel. This makes the product water and dirt repellent. Only an oil repellent effect cannot currently be achieved with a PFC-free finish.
