The High Coast Shorts are good to use during summer weather. The G-1000 Lite material ensures that the pants ventilate well and that they dry quickly. This ensures that you are less likely to suffer from perspiration.

The pants have a double belt loop at the back so that any belt stays in place better. The pants have a normal waist and a normal fit, the legs are short and should fall just over the knee. The pants have a slit pocket on both sides, and a pocket with a zipper on the back. The design of the pants is as simple as possible to keep the weight as low as possible.

G-1000 material

G-1000 is a fabric developed by FjällRäven itself. It's a classic that allows you to brave different activities and climates all year round, from the tropics to the polar regions. The fabric consists of 65% polyester and 35% cotton that are tightly woven together. This fabric was then treated with Greenland Wax. This combination makes G-1000 a popular outdoor fabric and has a number of practical properties:

• Durable: G-1000 fabric from FjällRäven is very hard-wearing and therefore long-lasting. In addition, it is lightweight.

• Water repellent: Thanks to the Greenland Wax, clothing with G-1000 can withstand short rain showers or moisture. In addition, it dries quickly.

• Windproof: FjällRäven clothing with G-1000 is almost completely windproof. If you still impregnate it with Greenland Wax, you are completely protected against wind.

• Breathability: An important property of G-1000 is high breathability. This means that your body stays nice and dry, even during strenuous activities.

• UV protection: Thanks to G-1000 you are almost completely protected against the sun's rays, reducing the risk of sunburn.

• Mosquito-proof: The tightly woven fabrics keep mosquitoes and other flying insects away. Ideal if you are in the mountains, the forest or in a warm climate. Note: G-1000 Lite is not mosquito proof.
