The Renegade GTX Lo Wide is ideal for long walks. From walks in the forest to light hikes in the mountains, this hiking shoe is a real all-rounder. The Renegade GTX falls under the category A/B hiking boots. These shoes are slightly more flexible than category B walking shoes and somewhat firmer than category A walking shoes. Materials

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Renegade GTX is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of animal skin. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. Waxing nubuck leather will make it darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.

GORE- TEX®

The Renegade GTX contains a GORE- TEX® membrane. The GORE-TEX® membrane ensures that the Renegade GTX is waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.

Wide last

The Renegade GTX Lo has a wide last. The wide last is suitable for people for whom the standard fit in the front is too narrow. The wide last has a normal width on the heel side, but is slightly wider on the forefoot side. This prevents annoying pressure points from developing in walkers with wider feet.

Insole

The Renegade GTX Lo Wide has a removable insole from Lowa. This insole contributes to extra walking comfort and is also available separately in our store and on our website . We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

Like many other hiking boots, the Renegade GTX has Lo Wide a VIBRAM ® outsole. Vibram soles are known for their high quality and durability and are therefore often used in hiking boots. The Vibram® Evo Trac® soles ensure good movement of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it provides good grip on different surfaces. In addition, the profile of the sole is self-cleaning. This means that the sole does not retain mud and soil. Because Vibram soles are wear-resistant, they last longer than other soles.
