Hanwag Banks Narrow GTX men's hiking boot

The Hanwag Banks Narrow GTX is the ideal shoe for medium-heavy hikes with a light pack, but can also be used for a light hike in the mountains. It falls under the category A/B hiking boots, which means that the shoes are slightly more flexible than category B hiking boots and somewhat firmer than category A hiking boots. The Narrow last offers nature lovers with a narrow foot a very good grip. Especially when you walk longer, but don't want to wear too heavy shoes, the Banks Narrow GTX an ideal option!

The shoe is made entirely of nubuck leather and is equipped with a Gore-Tex membrane. This membrane ensures that the shoe is waterproof. An approximately 1.5 mm thicker polyurethane foam wedge in the midsole makes the rolling movement smoother, the cushioning noticeably better and longer walks more comfortable. The Vibram ® Endurance Pro outsole provides good grip on different surfaces.

Material

The outer material of THIS WALKING BOOT is made of suede. Suede comes from the base of the animal hide. It has a velvety appearance and a soft feel. Suede can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated.

Nubuck leather

The outer material of the Hanwag Banks Narrow GTX is made of nubuck leather. Nubuck leather comes from the lightly sanded top layer of the animal hide. Sanding makes the leather feel softer, increases breathability and gives the leather a velvety appearance. Nubuck leather can be waxed, but it can also be left untreated. If you wax nubuck leather, it will become darker, smoother and shinier. When you spray nubuck leather with a spray containing wax, you treat this material in the best way.

GORE -TEX®

The Hanwag Banks Narrow GTX contains a GORE-TEX ® membrane. The GORE-TEX ® membrane ensures that these hiking boots are waterproof, but breathable. This keeps your feet dry while walking.
