The Salomon Alphacross is suitable for walks in nature and in the city, but can also be used very well for daily activities. Quicklace™ System

Thanks to the Quicklace™ system you don't have to lace and tie when you put on these Salomon shoes . The system consists of a lacing cord that goes through all the eyelets and a stopper. The ends of the lacing cord are connected. Pulling the 'stopper' downwards will tighten the shoe evenly. If the lacing cord breaks, you don't need the Alphacross don't throw it away right away. insole

The Alphacross has a removable insole from Salomon . This insole contributes to extra walking comfort. We also sell custom insoles that provide extra support.

Outsole

The by Salomon developed outsole gives and ensures good grip and stability while walking. The Contagrip® TD soles ensure a good transition of the foot. The profile of the sole has been developed in such a way that it gives a good grip and does not retain sludge or soil. The special profile on the toe and heel side provides more grip during ascent and descent.

When the soles of your hiking boots are worn, it is wise to replace them. Worn soles are a risk when walking. Because the profile of the sole disappears, the grip decreases and you slip faster. It will be difficult to say goodbye to the hiking boots that you may have taken wonderful trips with and that you have always maintained well. The big advantage of the Salomon Contagrip soles is that the lower part of the sole can be resoled. So if this part is worn out, you don't have to throw away your shoes. We are happy to offer the service of having the shoes resoled. Bring your shoes in or send them to us, and we'll see if we can provide them with a partially new outsole.
