Woolpower Socks Classic 200

The Woolpower Socks Classic 200 is a comfortable walking sock made of merino wool, polyamide and a little bit of elastane. The material is durable and consists mainly of air. The air is important because it insulates the heat your body produces. In addition to the walking sock being comfortable and insulating, the walking sock is also antibacterial. Size advice

Woolpower clothing is mostly unisex and is spacious for both men and women. In addition, it can become a little more spacious when worn. The insulating effect of Woolpower clothing comes into its own when it is close to the skin. That is why it is recommended for at least ladies to take one size smaller. Materials:

Merino wool

Merino wool comes from merino sheep and is generally known for its high quality. Merino sheep have much more hair than other sheep. Approximately ten times as many hairs grow per square meter as an average sheep. The wool is therefore thinner and longer, feels very soft and does not itch. Merino sheep live in areas with large temperature fluctuations from -20 ºC to over 35 ºC. Their fur regulates heat. As a result, merino wool keeps you warm in the cold, but it breathes well. In addition, merino wool has an excellent moisture-regulating and self-cleaning effect, so you will not easily suffer from perspiration spots and odors on your clothing.

Polyamide

Polyamide, also called nylon, is a synthetic material made from petroleum. Polyamide is a strong fabric that does not tear or crease easily. It is light, elastic, easy to fold and dries quickly. A disadvantage of polyamide is that it does not absorb moisture well.

Elastane

Elastane is a synthetic fiber that is exceptionally elastic. Due to its great stretchability, but at the same time its firmness, it distinguishes itself from other synthetic fabrics. For example, it is stronger and more durable than rubber, but also much lighter. Elastane is very lightweight and is therefore very suitable when you are going to do activities. Elastane also offers a lot of room to move because it is so elastic, without losing the fit.
